Post by rakeysh.patel » Thu Jan 05, 2012 1:13 pm

s title says, I'm an indian with T1 G visa in the UK, valid until 23/3/12. I am aware that I need visa to commute to Germany for Work purpose from my company but not sure if there is any criteria around what is the min uk residence permit required?

Can someone please help soon as?

I applied for a German schengen visa in the first 3 months of arrival in the UK on Tier1. as long as you have a decent enough validity remaining on your Tier1 visa, you should be OK. Some Schengen countries (like Spain) sometimes ask for at least 6 month stay in the UK but they never ask for me when I applied for a visa for business purposes.

Perhaps I didn't explain clearly. I've been in the uk for over8 years in total and almost 3 yrs on tier 1. On german embassy it says it I must have 3 months left on my uk residence permit? So wanted to grab some advice around if there is any flexibility around this?
