Is this document necessary for Set(O) ILR applications? I haven't seen it mentioned in any official guidance. Did you get this document for the peace of mind or were advised by solicitor?

Congratulations to you and good news for others who have job related absences of more than 3 months at a time.
But there is no consistancy of treatment at the Croydon PEO. In your case 123 job related absences at a time have been disregarded whereas case of santoshganpath was refused on 115 absences.

Congrats stillhopeful_PBN !!!!
I am happy for you and at the same time your case is nice example for my case as well. One of my business trips with my previous employer I had out of the country for about 91 days (technically exact 3 calander months).
But for peace of mind going through a solicitor and appointment will be scheduling next week.
My solicitor said my employer letter is very detailed and they are happy with it.
My speacial thanks to Jami and Obie for their invaluable guidance and motivitation to the Immigration advice seekers.
Thanks & regards,
Chrams

Hello Chrams,
Sorry to know about your application.
Did your Solicitor mentioned anything about letter received from UKBA? He ideally should have received letter from UKBA stating that it requires further checks.
On other hand - Can you give more details about your application. Was it straight forward without any "grey areas" such as more than 180 gap in 5 years & more that 90 days gap at one streach?
In scenarios like yours...UKBA states to handle 95% of cases within 6 months. lets hope your case will be handles in next few days time.
As you are aware - even I have similar situation - however, by grace of god..my case was handled in just 7 days & ILR granted.
lets hope ...its ganna be same for you.
Best of luck mate..

Thanks stillhopeful_PBN,
I sent an email to my previous employer today and i received a reply saying that the PEO contacted them yesterday it self and they enquired about my Business trips. My manager gave very satisfactory information to the UKBA.
I submitted very detailed letter from my previous employer on my business trips with my application.
I am on very positive side as they completed checks also and I am hoping for the positive news from the UKBA.
regards,
chrams

The employer's letter must mention following reasons
Why you were sent overseas to work
What was the reason, compelling circumstances for you to go
How it would effect your employer's business if you do not work overseas
Your company's pay policy while you were working overseas
How long you were working and in what capacity
The letter must include all the above information.
If you need any more information, please reply back.

do you or any one else have sample letter for the above mentioned.
