Days of Absence for ILR criteria

Post by amit_shah21 » Thu Jan 05, 2012 12:32 pm

hello,

i am subject to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) in April 2012 and as per my calculation i have been outside the country for 175 days but my concern is, Is there anyway i can get a full detail of being outside the country from home office...just for peace of my mind believing that what my calculation is equivalent to their calculation also....

Thanks
amit shah

I don’t think so you can get this information from home office. You need to look at the entry and exit stamps on your passport(s) to work out exactly how many days you were out of UK.

Also you don’t need to include the departure and arrival days.
