Marriage Holders ILR - Naturilisation

Post by luke79 » Fri Jan 06, 2012 5:29 pm

Hi Folk

Can someone tell me if its 1 year from the date of the ILR sticker before one can apply for BC or is it exactly 3 years from the date of arrival to the UK.

My wife has been granted ILR via settlement (marriage grounds).

Thanks

If you are a British citizen, then 3 years from date of arrival assuming she meets the requirements.

Does one have to have ILR for at least one year before applying for naturalisation?

it depends whether or not the applicant is married to a British Citizen.
