Tier 1 Dependent Travel Delay

Hi All,

I know the main applicant can delay his arrival to UK as much as he likes that only creates issues with his Settlement (ILR) as he might need one extra extensior for that. But someone told me the other day that for Dependent visa there's a time limit that he/she has to travel within 3 months after getting the visa else the visa wont be valid, is this true?
