Are you asking whether you can enter the UK on a Spouse visa on your own? Yes you can....but your wife must already be in the UK when you arrive.

Hi Maxiy

If you are granted the Spouse VISA then obviously you are cleared of entering the UK. However when it comes to whether you need to be with you Spouse or not, its entirely your choice. However if your Spouse is already in the UK that would be a big plus, otherwise their could be some confusions or misunderstandings.

Take all the documents with you, you used to get the Spouse VISA. Also make sure you know some information by heart i.e. your spouse date of birth, where you first met, date of marriage and basic questions like these. If any problems you would have all your evidence with you to show to the immigration officer.

Hopefully you should be fine.
Feb 2012 - Spouse Visa - New Delhi
Mar 2012 - Documents collected - VISA Granted
March 2014 - ILR Granted
Apr 2015 - Applied for Naturalisation
Nov 2015 - Naturalised

Or they will not ask where is your spouse, Could I say she will be coming in another flight soon or what.

Kindly, Advice.

Also, what kind of papers they might ask for.

Thank you Indeed.

A person granted any visa may have to prove on entry that they are still entitled to that visa. If a holder of a spouse visa turns up on his own and is not joining his spouse in the UK, he can be refused entry.

the spouse visa is for you to either come to the UK with your spouse who is settling in the UK at the same time, or to join your spouse who is already settled here. If she has not lived here for almost 30 years, and you come to the UK without her, you may be refused entry. When is she planning on coming to the UK? Does she have a flight booked?

Hello guys, i will b travelling to UK with my wife from India in 2 weeks. Can i join her in the 'other passports' queue or does she have to go by herself to present her passport to Border control at the airport? I'm worried if the officer starts asking questions, my wife will get nervous and scared. Any suggestions plz? Thanks

She will Join me for sure (Insha'Allah) but the problem that I want first to travel on my own.

Do this could make a problem or no, or nothing will happen unless they suspect me at the Border.

We both will book for a Flight once the Visa is granted but I want to travel alone and then she join me later.

Do you have real experience about this situation.
i have already answered your question, I think you are looking for a different answer. If your wife is not travelling with you, or already in the UK, you could be refused entry.

How long after you come to the UK will she be joining you?

Greenie has already given you the benefit of her experience as to how entry officers view the situation. Believe me, if I were you, I would take her advice and either enter with your wife or arrive once she is in the UK.

You are right , I won't take the risk after all this money paid and time lost.

So after the 1st time, everything will be fine and I can enter on my own with no problems, that's right.

Last question, so I will need to be the UK/EU queue together with her.

Let me know
You may be able to stand in the UK one, if you travel together. Different places do it differently just ask on arrival. You will be able to enter on your own later and live in the UK if your spouse is living in the UK and does not remain based abroad.

Whether you are allowed to use the UK/EU passport line is entirely up to the Immigration Officer on the day....as you've already experienced. Your wife may be asked to join you in the non-British/EU passport queue.
