Biometric and processing timelines

Hello,

Will the tier 1 extension application be reviewed only after I complete biometrics? Or will they carry out a review of application in parallel.
The reason I am asking this is because I have heard that it is very difficult to get appointment for biometrics at Croydon. So just wondering if this delay will impact the processing timelines?

they only substantively consider applications when biometrics have been given, so yes, the later you give biometrics, the later your decision will be.

There are walkin centers where you don't need appointments for Biometrics. You can also go to one of the listed Post offices to provide the Biometric details.
