Has anyone applying the PSW and have taken the biometrics received any documents from the UKBA today? @manuhot01 have you got your documents and visa?

Hello everyone,
I applied PSW visa on 28th December 2011. Still I didn't receive an acknowledgment letter. Are there anyone who applied on or before 28th December and receive an ack letter or any response from UKBA .. ?

hi, i've given my bio on 13 dec and still haven't got anything yet, anyone who has given on 12th or 13th how they are doing. This is waiting is so painfull

Application sent on 21/12/2011
Letter received on 27/12/2011 ( dated on 22/12/2011)
Biometric letter received 10/01/2012 (dated on 06/01/2012)
Biometric Given at local post office on 10/01/12
BRP Permit received on 02/02.2012
Waiting for passport and documents

Today (11-Jan-2012) received my Ack letter dated 06-Jan-2012 ..

I sent my application on 17th Dec and received my acknowledge letter on 30th Dec which is dated 23th Dec.

I still didn't receive my biometric letter.

As my student visa will be expire on 30th Jan, Will my residency in UK be legal after 30th and during the application process?!

I think it's because of Christmas vacation. Don't worry.. You will get your ack letter end of this week. Anyway it's not a must to get an ack letter

Hi, below is my timeline:

Application sent: somewhere on November

Application Received by the UKBA: 23 November 2011

Biometric Invitation from the UKBA: 7 December 2011

Biometric received by the UKBA: 12 December 2011

Biometric Residence Permit Card received: 14 January 2011

Passport still waiting.

I am glad for this and truly wish everybody the best of luck. The waiting is almost unbearable, I understand. Just wait for a little while, or better yet, phone them, pretend to ask for your documents back. When they are logged in into their system, ask whether there is anything in the system that describes the state of your application. I tried this, and the officer at that time told me that a package was being sent to my address two days ago. Turns out that this is the Biometric Residence Card.

What worries me a little is my passport. As I understand, you are suppossed to receive a letter and your passport first before the biometric. I will try to phone them on monday.

I couldnt get them because I wasn´t at home!! if this is for special delivery requires ID proof and other a sign.

The average time is 20 business days after biometrics!!
