ILR (Ancestry) - will biometrics be required at PEO

Post by slopter » Wed Jan 11, 2012 5:26 pm

Hi - am a bit confused about whether Biometrics are required or not.

I will be applying in person early next week for ILR based on 5 years ancestry.

Is every application at Croydon PEO now required to provide biometrics whilst they are there or will I be able to skip past this step?

Some announcements suggest that ILR biometrics are only required from March 2011, but the UKBA website seems to suggest that they are required for Ancestry. Does this also mean ILR resulting from Ancestry.

Many thanks for your help

UKBA is starting Biometrics for ILR applications from 29th feb 2012.

I am not sure if it's all ILR applications or just one type ?
