Spouse to Ilr docs

Hi Everyone,

You all have been very helpful in my Spouse to ILR application so far.I am going for the interview on the 12th.

These are my final documents. Please confirm if this is all ok.

1.Application form
2.Life in the Uk test
3.Marriage certificate.
4.6 documents from 3 different source:
For 2010:
Jan 2010: My bank statement and wifes
March 2010:Council tax(both our names)
Oct 2010:Gas(both our names)
For 2011:
Jan 2011:My bank statement and wifes
June 2011:Council tax(both our names)
Nov 2011:Gas(both our names)
5.Last 3 month bank statements of me and my wife.
6.Last 3 month payslips of me and my wife.(both of us work full-time. I am an engineer and she is a nurse.)
7.There is a ISA in her name which has roughly 2500 pounds.
8.Mortgage papers(house is in my wife's name)
9.Life insurance for on the mortgage both in our names.

1.My wife was born after 1982. I have her passport and her birth certificate.
Will I need her mothers passport copy? to prove her origin.

2.Also will i need to take photocopies of all the documents?
3.Do i need photographs of us together?

Will this be enough? is there anything else they might ask any other documents. I like to play it very safe! so if you guys think anything that might strengthen my application please advise.Even if you think its a bit too far out of the way please let me know.Any help is hugely appreciated.Very nervous PLEASE HELP.

Your list looks fine but i advise you do the following:

Yes, take photocopies, it may save you time while there.
Take the photos if it gives you a piece of mind
Take all documents with your names & address on ( that way you submit what they ask for)
You don't need her mother's passport copy.

Make sure you are using the current SET M form. Don't forget the photos too!

i read the links you have given me and on one of them it said 6 sources!!!

dont think i can provide 6 source apart from the source i have written already i only have some DVLA docs in my name...virgin media in my wifes....mobile bills in my name and life insurance on bith our names for the house.

Hi, I am not sure whether to submit ILR or FLR for my wife once her Spouse visa expires.

She was granted Spouse visa on 26th November 2010 in Pakistan.
She actually arrived in the UK on 28th May 2011 (because she was 8 months pregnant she wasn’t allowed to travel until delivery).
Her Spouse visa expires on 26th February 2013.

My understanding is we can apply 28 days before her visa actually expires, so with that in mind she would have been in the country 21 months since her arrival in UK. That is 3 months short of 24 month qualifying period for ILR.
My Wife has not travelled out of UK since she arrived in UK.
Will the UKBA agency put her application on hold until she qualifies for 23 months or shall I submit FLR in Jan 2013?

I think you will have to apply for an extension first, then ILR
