ILR - Over 18 dependent

Post by ILRFeb2012 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 8:27 pm

Hi,

I am on Tier 1 General, I am applying for ILR in Feb 2012, I have some question about my daughter who is over 18 now and doing A level,

1- Do you know which form does she needs to fill when she wants to apply as my dependent?
2- Does she need to attend the Life in the UK Test?

Bear in mind she was 13 when she entered the UK in 2006.

I appreciate it if someone could reply!

Thanks
Kalat

Settlement Applications by your dependants wrote:Applications for settlement by Tier 1 (General) migrants must be made using application form SET(O). You can use one form for a joint application by you, your partner and any children aged under 18, if they are applying as your dependants. Children over 18 must apply separately using form SET(O).

Thank you I understood that I need to fill the SET(O) form as main applicant including my wife as dependant. For my daughter she also needs to fill a separate SET(O) form but is the "Life in the UK Test" applicable for her?

Regards
Kalat
