hi applied for hsmp in nov 2005 got refusal..now applying again in nov 2006 will i be getting the new reference no. or the same old one...
plzz help frens

Hi,

As this is a new application, you will be getting a different Reference Number. I think root is wrong.

i have submitted fresh second application i have got same ref no and i saw various cases on forum they also got same ref no

yes, you will get same reference with /002 or something similar...

but in the final approval letter they mention the same old ref

You'll get the same reference number. Not even a "/002" behind it.
They 'll know it is the second application and have access to the copy of first application as well.

Sometimes they issue a new reference no. When i applied for 2nd time (Sep 06) they issued a new no. starting with 084***.

1st time(july 06) they issued : 077***.

Not sure if I get this. I applied in 2004 and was rejected.
I plan to apply again (more than 2.5 yrs now) by Nov 2006 end, Will I get the same reference number as I got in my application in 2004?

Also would be be useful to let them know that I was already awarded points for education and work experience in my previous application?
