Post by Jamb » Mon Jan 09, 2012 3:09 pm

Hi to everybody!just needing a bit of help!Applied to peo in Croydon today, gve all the paperworks, waited for 45 minutes while she did her check!then she called me again and told me that she needs to pass it to other team for some more checks that she cannot do.she told me that everything is fine and this is nothing to worry about and they will get in contact with me in one week!
But I cannot help it,I'm very worried.can anybody tell me what are those things that they can't check there!

Hello Jamb,
I am in the same boat as you.
I had applied through a solicitor on 4th Jan 2012 and i had about 337 days absence out of 191 days busines trips. Remainder are annual paid holidays and self employed. I had produced all required evidence for my connection to the UK, ie.e rental agreements, utility bills paid, etc.,

My soliciror told me that my application is valid but they need to do further checks on my application. It's 4th Day.

I understand from my employer that the UKBA contacted them on the same day of my application for reasons for my business trips.

Fingres crossed and hoping for the best positivie out come.

If any experienced or Mods, shed some light on What type of further checks do they carry out? your inputs to this matter would be highly appreciated

Hi Jamb/Charms,

I am also in the similar situation applied in person via solicitor on 20th Dec and still waiting... but mine was completely straight forward case apart from the employer Letter.I had a letter but it didn't mention about the SOC code.

Pls find my post in the below link

Hopefully all of us get a result

Hi, Jamb,

Congrats!
Regarding your business trip, do you have a single stretch more than 90 days?

Thanks.
