Reapplying after rejected (in 2004)

Post by first2last4 » Mon Oct 02, 2006 9:19 am

I applied for HSMP (in-country application) in mid 2004 and was rejected and following were the point's breakup:

*****Outcome of application in 2004******
Category--------Claimed------Awarded
Experience------25-------------25
Education-------15-------------15
Past Earning--- 25------------- 0
************************************

Past 12 months earning submitted was Indian salary (since I had just arrived UK). I now have a stable job in UK on WP and do earn enough to claim points for past earning (this time with UK salary). Because I like freedom as others :), I plan to apply for HSMP again by the end of this month and this is what I can claim in my new application

*****New Application******
Category--------To Claim
Experience------25
Education-------15
Past Earning--- 25
************************

Guys, Can you suggest if it would be useful to mention about points awarded in my previous application? Because the category (past earning) where I lost my points last time is very straight forward this time.

Thanks for reading.

I think it's not important.

Look at this reply from HO. On one hand they're asking me to provide them with the previous reference number and other hand they are not going to consider any information about points awarded in past.

Does'nt make any sense......

Thank you for your email.

You can give your previous application reference number in any covering
letter you send with your application.

You should provide evidence with this application for all the areas
for which you are applying for points. You do not need to state that you
were awarded points previously as each application is treated
individually.

Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you require any further
information.

Pramjit,

Trust me it is no different that this one.

Except that I submitted in 2004. I agree with people on board it is not only how good your expereince letter is but also at case workers discretion.
