Tier 4 to Tier 2 before Degree finish

could any 1 please tell me, is it possible to switch student visa to tier 2 work visa, incase when any company wants to recruit international student on full time work , work which is related to the degree but there is still 4 months left to finish the degree.
is it possible?
i will be very thank full for Responce.

yes it is possible, you need to finish at least 1 years of your course and the employer must agree to sponsor you.

it is not possible unless you have completed a course of at least one academic year in duration. Completing one year of a three year course would not be sufficient unless you are a phd student. See applying from within the UK

thanx, Greenu, i have finishd 2 years foundation and now in 3rd year of Bsc hons. Course end date may 28th 2012.
In that case still i can't apply as 2 years has been done?

have you been awarded the two year foundation?

yes , i got 2 years degree from universty ,FdSC .
And then i took admission in same uni in top up 3rd year.

did you have to make an application to extend your leave to do the top up year or were you given a CAS for the entire 3 years?
