France Schengen visa from London: how long for appointment?

Does anyone have recent experience of booking an appointment through TLScontact to submit documents to the French embassy in London for a Schengen visa? How long does it take to get an appointment?

Usually about a week, this may vary depending on how busy TLS contact is. Booking directly with the embassy will take longer and be sure you have every document required or your visa will be a guaranteed refusal. As it was in my case when I didn't provide an original lodging attestation.
