Need Suggestion from Experts

Post by mantasingh » Wed Jan 18, 2012 9:22 pm

I will be eligible for my Tier 1 General extension on 31st January,12 when my salary gets credited.

It will take me time till 5th Feb to prepare my complete file with all the documents.

My Case:
- Initial Application dated 10 July, 2010 (75 points required for extension)
- Age (Under 27 on 10 July, 2010) - 20 points
- Qualification (Bachelors, recognized by points calculator) - 30 points
- Earning (more than 37K in last 12 months) - 20 points
- UK Experience (above earning in UK) - 5 points
- English (Already proven with Tier 1, Degree recognized by points calculator) -10 points
- Maintenance Funds (1500 GBP, since 1 Nov, 11) - 10 points.

Employer: Highly recognized and earlier got 2 WP for me as well.
Payslips stamped & signed by employer
Bank Statements: All official statements issued on monthly basis.
Maintenance Funds: Separate Letter from Bank as well confirming the funds from 1st Nov,11 - 31st Jan, 12
Original Degree Certificate
No Convictions.

Now the Queries
1. Do you see any issue with my application, or anything I need to be careful for.

2. I have 2 options for filing my application but I need to know will I be able to travel by 25th March, 12 as I need to leave UK for urgent work.

a. Postal Application which I will be able to do by 5th or 6th Feb, 12

b. In Person application for which I got the appointment of 25th Feb, 12.

Please suggest which option I should go for. Will Postal be processed by 25th March, 12 or In Person will be better as I need to travel by 25th March?

Thanks

My two pence on this: Your application looks straightforward, there is no reason why you won't be granted approval on the same day, so take the in-person appointment. There is the added benefit of taking in extra documentation to provide to the case-worker in case he has any questions.
