Has anyone applied for a passport outside UK after naturalization / registration in the UK?

- Are there any unsuccessful cases you know of?
- Are there any potential problems because you indicate you intend to live in the UK in your citizenship application?
- Are there still interviews?

You are worrying yourself for nothing.
Once you are naturalized or registered as a British citizen you can apply for a passport abroad if you are a resident there.
No one will strip you of your British citizenship because of alledgley "breaking" the future intention requirment by living abroad.
