hi my friend was admitted in to uk on hsmp in 2005 but his time was reset for another 4 yrs for ilr which is due in july this year due to long absences...so now the 3 month rule of showing funds is applicable to him? please some one clarify. Thank u.

What Visa category (HSMP, Tier 1, WP etc.) is he applying under?

thanks sage,he is applying under tier1 and pls note he was initially approved under hsmp in yr 2005.

His case might be covered under HSMP JR.
Don't know if his ILR clock reset has any effect on this.
If he is applying as non HSMP JR case under T1G for his ILR, now he will need to show his income for previous 12 months and get the points as per his last extension.

Read the FLR (O) form and associated guidance.
