LA Mike,

on entering the ref number in the column, the date i get is different from the date when i use application receipt date. May be the logic for the both is different. Also, could you tell me whether you keep modifying the chart as per the current processing time they take? They are becoming slower and slower....now i think the gap between receipt of application and decision making is almost 4 months.....its only going to increase i think...

Great forum - pleased to see that, unlike other forums, the moderators are actively encouraging informative and positive discussion!

I am an out of country applicant from Australia in the 28 and over category - here are some details re progress of my application:

15 March: sent application from Aust by post (registered air mail)
24 March: received by HSMP team
26 March: CC charged
15 July: first email to HSMP team to request case number and/or status of application
15 July: stock response from HSMP team
"A decision has been made on your application and you will hear from us
shortly regarding it. We cannot give you any details over fax or email you
must wait for the letter to arrive."

Am now propelled into another waiting phase! As I have not requested return via courier I am reliant on the efficiency of the mail services.

Will post further upon receipt of any updates!

In case anybody was wondering... I'm around, but my employer and the internet cafe I use don't allow outbound FTP to update my web site and I haven't gotten around to getting a computer yet. I am still keeping my local copy up to date and I'll get it out before too long.

Otherwise things are going very well. I started my job last week, have a bank account, national insurance number, mobile phone and a permanent place to stay, and am enjoying myself a great deal... if anybody in London wants to meet up for a pint (or a coffee), let me know.

Thats good. So is there any change in your excel sheet than previous one that you have posted? Have you included new logic of calculating processing timelines? How much is the shift (northwards i guess) and difference between old and new timelines?

Yo Mike! It's good to see you are enjoying yourself in London. If you need any help in uploading it to your ftp/website I can do it for you if you can send me the details through email (and obviously the excel sheet). I might also place a web-to-ftp gateway java application on my website so that you can update your your excel sheet until you get a pc.

ta!

Nope :(

A couple of weeks must do the trick.

I'll post it here when they notify me. Since my consultant is in the UK, they'll know the decision shortly after HO guys reach it.
