ilr for wife, Public funds question

Post by sameer9966 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 2:25 pm

Hi,

is husband or wife should be working to apply for Ilr, my wife is household
and i got redundant, as i am uk citizen i am eligible to public funds, and i am
receiving some public funds aswell, my wife(applicant) never claim any
public funds.

In the application ukba asking whether u or ur partner claim any public funds
yes or no so ibelieve i should tick "yes". Is this affect my application.

Please advice

Thanks

Tick Yes & tick the relevant public funds in the sponsor's column.
It will not affect your wife's application as it is you recieving them not her.

And one more question in the application is about income:

I dont have income (As i lost job and hunting new one hope i`ll
find soon.)

i am not receiving even any income support or jsa, i am just surviving
on my previous savings, though i am receiving housing bnefit., should i mention this in total income.

And do i also need to include in the income receiving on behalf of my children which is ctc/cb.

pls advice,

thx
