Turning 28 on 10-Nov-2006. Can I apply under 28 scheme?

Post by AkashS » Wed Oct 11, 2006 5:59 pm

Dear Friends,

I am turning 28 on 10-Nov-2006. Can I apply for HSMP under 28 Scheme? I am going to send the application by Monday, 16-Oct-2006 and they should receive it before 20-Oct-2006. Will They consider my application as under 28 Application or not?

Any idea how long before we should submit our application for this category? Is there any Official Document or Guideline to confirm the same? Experts please suggest me regarding this asap. Thanks.

Regards,

Akash...

Buddy,

Wish you had gone through the guidance notes

As long as HO "receives" your application before the day you turn 28, it will be considered as "under 28" application.

• Print of the same job from IBM website that clearly mention about Job Type, Roles & Responsibilities, Requirement as Graduate Degree required etc.

• Company 3 (Wipro): March 2006 to Sep 2006 (6 Months)
• Experience Letter with Roles & Responsibilities but it does not say about Full-Time Job thing
• Appointment Letter,
• Company Literature Book (Could not get Brochure)

Please suggest me if I am missing something that is very important. As I am applying myself, so no consultant will review my application. I am looking at you friends to help me in applying. "

I wanted to ask if evidence as Brochures for my past Companies will be ok or not... For 2 companies I am producing Brochure (One is company Brochure, another is One Department's Brochure) and for ojne other company I am presenting a Booklet on some Company Values, Inspirations etc... Will that be fine...

ensure you submit reference letters from every company you have worked for... that should cover your roles/responsibilities,start/end dates, designation, mention full time role., requires Graduate level work..... etc...

there is no harm in submitting the company's brochures/ business cards.... but those alone are not sufficient to claim points for work exp.

above reference letter is a must ............

Hi,

Here is my evidence for Work Experience:

Experience Details:
• Company 1 (Jewel Consultancy): May 2000 to July 2003 (38 Months)
• Experience Letter in desired Format with Roles & Responsibilities.
• Appointment Letter.
• Salary Hike Letter.
• Company Brochure and Company's Director's Business Card.

• Company 2 (IBM): May 2005 to Dec 2005 (7 Months)
• Experience Letter in Standard IBM Format.
• Appointment Letter.
• Company Literature.
• IBM Business Card.
• Print of the same job from IBM website that clearly mention about Job Type, Roles & Responsibilities, Qualification Requirement for job.

• Company 3 (Wipro): March 2006 to Sep 2006 (6 Months)
• Experience Letter with Roles & Responsibilities.
• Appointment Letter.
• Salary Hike Letter.
• Company Brochure.
• Wipro Business Card.
• Print out of jobs, related with my field (Information Security).

Total Experience: 4 Years 3 Months

See my 1st Company and one other company (Samsung) gave me letter that stats Roles/ Responsibilities, Full-Time Graduate level etc, but IBM and Wipro (other two companies) did not give me tha same. IBM Letter is simple and in their standard format. I am providing other things to support my aplication for IBM Job (Job Ad from their website)..
For Wipro, Roles/Responsibilities are their but not Full-Time etc thngs....

Pls see my Checklist and suggest me.. I am submitting tomorrow...
