English Lang and Maintenance are compulsory and the total points should be above the required. The more the merrier.

Please read the Tier 1 general form before asking questions.

Excerpts from Tier 1 general form page 5:

"You must make the cheque or postal order payable to ‘Home Office’ and cross the cheque or postal order A/C Payee only. Please write the full name and date of birth of the applicant on the back of the cheque and/or each postal order and keep the postal order receipt(s). Please make sure that the date and the amount (words and figures) are correct and that the cheque is signed properly. Attach your cheque or postal order(s) to the front of the application form."

The list looks okay to me. You could also include:

1) Letter from Employer: Confirming all the payments.

Additionally you could include:

2) Degree Certificate (just in case, as one of my frnds was asked for it even though he had provided that in the first instance)

3) English language: If you have an English language test result include it. Else if you have a degree taught in English, include the letter from your institution. (even if you provided the same for initial application)

4) Include the following letters if possible:

a) table of contents
b) main cover letter
c) cover letters for each section (showing points claimed and the documents included in that section)

Everything looks fine, but make sure that your snaps are not old. One of my friends applied for an extension with the same photos as applied for initial application. He got a rejection.

thanks Rajani and all other guys, really thankfull to all of you for the guidance.

i got my pics 2 days before as its common sense, otherwise you are just giving them an excuse to refuse your application.
when they mention it shdnt be more than a month old then why take a cheap risk.

i went to liverpool today for my PEO and was granted extension in 1 hr 15 mins flat, full marks to UKBA staff at Liverpool office, really helpful and professional.

and tons of thanks to you guys for helping me out with various queries.

i will start a new thread with my experience.

thanks
