council tax

are you exempt from council tax when you switch to post study work scheme,even though you are doing unpaid placement.

assuming you are referring to the fact that as a student you are exempt from council tax, the answer is no, when you cease being a student (i.e. when you complete your course) you are no longer exempt from paying council tax. Whether you have switched from student/tier 4 leave to PSW is not relevent. See council tax exemptions and discounts
