important links

1. http://www.iasuk.org/C2B/PressOffice/di ... 339&Type=2

2. http://www.iasuk.org/C2B/PressOffice/di ... 337&Type=2

It clearly shows that there is some political intereference in immigration and beloved against south asians

other link is for EC , EC starts when one will enter UK. so ask EC Officer to stamp visa close to ur travel date ..this is ur right

Urgent Treatment Letter

Post by bishnujee » Sun Oct 15, 2006 7:24 am

Hi Root,
Normally you are expected to send previous Income Tax return for previous year and any other forms of statement or payslips.
Urgent treatment form normally should not be affecting outcome of your application.Normally Applicants has been getting outcome in 2 weeks and maximum in 3 weeks when they get all documents with decision letter.
Kind regards
Bishnujee

Duration of decision!!!

Post by bishnujee » Sun Oct 15, 2006 8:27 am

Normally there decision is based on documents submission. If they find that you have all local UK Graduation and Professional Registration is done in UK,they wont have lots of problem with verification of documents. If they need verification of documents from far away areas, then it might be late depending on documents submitted.

There are around 6 applicants including me this month.
we have shared info thru this form.

There might be some more applications, who might not be aware of this form or haven't shared the info.

so , on an average there might be around 15-20 applications this month.

Does anybody know, what is the average number of applicants every month?

Does this matters at all to HO ? .....

Cheers.

urgent treatment

Post by InCountry_u28 » Sun Oct 15, 2006 4:08 pm

Hi root,
I submitted urgent treatment as I got a job offer in the UK. I faxed the urgent treatment form with the job offer letter to the HO on 6th Oct the friday and when i called the following monday (9th Oct) they said caseworker is assigned...then i called up twice during the week the status was "verification checks" wondering how long it would take. I was adviced to call next week.
Cheers!

how do they contact? fax email phone.
I wish they dont email because mostly people dont read corporate email address.

HO can check all employers and it can be by fax, e-mail or call.

If you dont want they e-mail your employer dont mention email just give them fax and phone number.

I am sure most of you have seen this ... but just in case you haven't, here is the current service levels for HSMP.

http://www.workingintheuk.gov.uk/workin ... dards.html

HSMP

Service Standard: 50% of new applications to be decided within 5 weeks of receipt at our payment handling service and 90% within 14 weeks.

Current Performance (year to date)

% of applications decided within 25 working days 87%
% of applications decided within 70 working days 97%

Hope this helps. :)

Urgent Treatment form

Post by mag » Tue Oct 17, 2006 12:25 am

Hey Guys: I just saw posted on a previous page on this forum that it seems that asking for an Urgent Treatment reduces the possibility of getting accepted. Does anyone has info on this? Is this just a myth? Anybody heard something about it?

I've applied end of last week and no sound from HO yet.
Can anyone please share processing time information who applied recently?

Also, I did a major mistake with my application. I've macter degree from Pakistan and claimed 25 points.

Please tell me if they will award me 15 points (I deserve) or simply mark 0 points.

Re: Finally sent in my application

Post by docitduo » Tue Oct 17, 2006 9:06 am

Hi Guys,

Can anyone who's sent the application through courier confirm if the person who's signed for the receipt of their application is "S. COTT." The FedEx website shows that my pack was signed for by this person at the reception/front desk.

The reason I am asking this is because FedEx seems to have goofed up in the delivery. Till 5pm UK time yesterday my package was shown as lying at FedEx office in Nottingham (tracking system on the website), but an hour later (6pm UK time) the website showed that it had indeed been delivered to Sheffield at 11.15am UK time  !! I am kind of concerned as to where the package was all the time and why was the delivery at 11.15am reflected / confirmed at 6pm only, and that too when I called up the UK helpline repeatedly demanding status.

If someone can confirm that his application was also signed for by S.COTT. in the past, it will put all my fears to rest !!

Thanks & regards

Out-country applicant, 28+ category.

Have claimed 75 points .
Education = 25

Income = 25

Timelines:
Application sent by FedEx: 13-Oct-06
Application received by HO: 16-Oct-06 (signed for by S. Cott. at the recepetion / front desk, as per FedEx website)

Will keep updating as things progress
