salary required for settlement

Post by arihan » Sat Jan 28, 2012 11:35 pm

Dear All

I am having Tier-2 general visa. I am getting 40k salary (gross) for my post as Senior Analyst Programmer. Could you please let me know if this salary is " appropriate rate of pay for the job" as I have to apply for permanent resident within one year time.

I checked the http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary
but didn't find anywhere.

Regards
Arihan

its clearly listed on the page and qualifies well:

Analyst
programmer
Responsible for the system design and programming of
individual modules within a project. Detailed programming
work would be evident at this level. In general this job
refers to general legacy mainframe skills, but it is still used
in a number of public sector organisations to encompass all
development that involves a design and programming
element.
