Tier 1 Dependent - Tenancy Agreement required?

Post by poornachander » Tue Jan 31, 2012 10:50 am

For Tier 1 Dependent applications, do we need to submit the tenancy agreement.
AM applying for my wife from India.
Here in UK am sharing a flat with my friend. As my tenancy agreement says that it is a sharing premises. Will it be any problem to submit the doc.

Please suggest . Thanks

Tenance Agreement Requried

Hi friend,

Tenancy agreement is required and also get a NOC letter from your land lord stating that there is enough space for you and your wife and that he has no object.

this is absolutely required. I had done so for my wife dependent visa.

Sorry I choose to differ here. As per the rules you need not show a tenancy agreement for your dependants. All you need is enough funds and proof that they are related to you, plus other required documents. I know VFS, (in India) asks you to provide the tenancy agreement but I applied without it and got the visa successfully for my wife and kids.
