I called Mumbai BHC today and they said they have recieved determination from UK... But its yet unknown when will they send me a call latter...

hi forum. i am close to applying for wifes spouse visa and i have appointment at VFS Ahmedabad (India) to submit the application. because the appointment at vfs is on 20th Jan, will it be a problem that i have sent payslips and bank statements for december and may not be able to get latest statements for january out in time? will they cause problems because i wont have jan finance details because of timing? also my wife has put in the application that she is "supported by others" and by that i mean her parents, so will we need to include statements of her parents bank account also?

would it be ok that we have statements up to december 31 ? the appointment to submit is on jan 31 and i wont have january statement by that time

Hey guys,

I just got back from my appeal. Was so nervous!! So glad it's over though. Now have to wait for the determination letter..

Can anyone please confirm what everyones judges were like?? Mine was really nice to me but I want to know if there all like that!!

Yes he asked me questions bout our relationship. He also said "if I refuse you his visa what will you do" I started crying there and then and I said I will not give up till he's here with me

I really hope they understand my position and that I can't live without my husband

What date do u fly out??

Hey guys,

Was wondering if anyone could help me.. I attended my husbands appeal hearing on the 30th jan which was on Monday just gone and now I'm feeling so nervous about the result! I rang the tribunal service today and gave her the case the case number. She stated that the judge has not made a decision yet and it says on her system "decision reserved" now I feel even more nervous!! I know it's still early but does anyone have any idea what this might mean?? I'm in such a state at the moment as I dont know what the next stage will be if they refuse us again

hey chimpee decision reserved only means that the decision has not been made by the judge, so you need to wait for upto 10 days ...and stay positive

I have applied for settlement from India(on 16th Jan2012) as my Husband recently got the same.Just wanted to know a few things like,

1)The current Uk settlement visa processing time
2)If there is something I can do to expedite the process.
3)Any other relevant suggestions nyone has got

Most importantly,my return flight which is on 21st of Feb seemingly is going to be missed.
Though thats not a problem,my concern is If I dont return by Feb to Uk,that might make my single holiday of more than 90 days.So I want to know if that is going to affect either my this application/future visa procedings??

just to post that my wife has submitted her spouse visa application at VFS Ahmedabad, India.

Just going by peoples responses, would be fair to expect a response in 1-2 months? Does the quality of the application make a difference or does it not really matter at all?
