Hi every body,

I have got one question....

We Got Married in Dec.

On My Wife's Passport application, can we say Unmarried, because, If we tell them married, they are asking to change NIC on husband name and then Passport application will submit.

Would it cause any problem for the spouse visa ?

Its pretty obvious, if you're married you need to say you're married.

Unless you got married in Pakistan, and are applying on a fiancee visa.

Is it a marriage visa you are applying for ?

Does anyone know how long it takes for the passport to come back with the visa after being submitted ?

This is when the decision has been overturned.

Hi everyone! my wife submitted eea family permit on 27/01 her online status says islamabad OC anyone knows what it means any suggestion how it takes till she gets final desicion?

Does my wife need a nadra card to apply for a spouse visa because ive got all my documents ready to submit but the nadra office are taking long with issuing her with a nadra card can i do without the card and apply straight away without it?

Our decision was over-turned in Dec. Hubby submitted Passport before Christmas and still has not received it back. I dunno what's taking them so long to stamp and return, they said it would take 28 days. Such a long wait :(

Just a reminder for all of you that have lodged appeal and are waiting. There is still hope.. brother Hashim's wife got call to submit passport on date of deadline (today right?). So guys please don't lose hope there is still a chance decision could be over-turned right up until the deadline date :wink:

I think I know what you are trying to say.

Basically your wifes Passport and Nadra card are presently showning her as a Miss under her fathers name.

There is no need to change it unless you have time to play with.

I was in the same situation as you but had limited time in Pak.

We submitted all our usual paperwork, filled in the VAF with all the relevant married details within but submitted the original Passport and NADRA card.

Therefore you should have no issues. All applicants must get Nikkah Namas' registered at the Union Council, they issue you with a Marriage Certificate.
