So happy! Proper married life is officially about to begin!

I read this forum every day since we submitted and I had a panic attack every time I did....just a note to people still waiting...every case is different! I didn't give half as much evidence and info as fbutt but we still got it.

Anyways! Good luck to everyone...and remembers the power of making dua!

You could contact you're city council. There will be an office in you're area where you can purchase you're land registry certificate. I think mine cost £17

Well I am still waiting.

Many people whom applied just before and after me seem to have had a reply. Dont think anyone is waiting who applied before me now in December.

Rang up and Gerry's said the file is still with the BHC in Islamabad.
My 5 year old asks me every day, and the stress is killing me.

Any day now I hope.

Really happy for everyone else.....all the best of luck for the future.

Hopefully the application is on its way back to Mirpur, it could be that is the reason for delay.

My husband has applied for spousal visa on the 23rd Dec at Mirpur and we are still waiting.
I went to see him and can't take more holidays but was keen to understand once the visa is granted inshALLAH, how late can he come to the UK

As in if it was issued on the 1st Feb , will he need to enter the UK within a month or 3 months or is their no timeline ?
Yep they have 3 months to enter, and then need to be here for 2 years in order to apply for Indefinate Leave to Remain.

The visa issued is therfore 27 months I think. If they have not been here for 2 years you might have problems when applying for ILR. A mate had that problem and had to apply for a visa extension before applying for ILR.

Once they get their visa they can enter straight away.

Looks like people who applied at ISL are getting a decision a lot quicker than people who applied at other places...looks like it's 4-5 weeks for most people.

Congratz to those who's hubbies/wifes visa's got granted and best of luck to the few who are going to collect their passports!

Has/did anybody put two contact numbers down on theapplication number as im using two numbers one lyca just to call hubby (cos its cheaper) and one t mobile contract which i use to call my friends and family. I want to include this as its with me allthe time also cos its showing on my statement as direct debit.

Also did those of u that used sims like lyca mobile, vectone, icard etc only call pakistan of this or useit for calls and text in the uk too?

Cos im abit worried about this as ionly use myn to call my hubyon his mobile or the inlaws on their number.

Please someone do get back?

Thanks. :)

On the appliaction it only had one slot to enter one number so i put my o2 number and not my lyca mobile as I am on that too, it shouldnt really be a problem bcos if you have your call history printed out your lyca mobile will be on that and it also shows your hubby landline number and mobile number

I only used it to phone hubby, and sometimes if mum wanted to ring her sisters and that in Pakistan then i let her, what i did was highlighted it all, like all the landline calls i highlighted it orange and all the mobile calls to hubby i highlighted it in blue.

There shouldnt be any problem if you just used it to call hubby, I mean thats what it is there for, it is an international sim

hope that helps
