How much balance should be in my account

Hi
I am the sponsor for the visitor visa for my mum. How much balance should be there in my bank account if the application is to submitted to the home office. Also to be honest in my current account in which my salary goes in there is hardly anything left but another current account has got a credit of £600/- to 1000/- since last 6 months.

I will be grateful if someone can please advise.

HI there is no set fixed amount but i would robably say a few thousand pounds. It depends on what your sponsoring them for, all their visit including flights or just accomodation. if your sponsoring all then i would say £4-5000 pounds, since everythings so expensive these days.
