I have one question for Addul23, Doubletrouble, Kamicool, ishareef17,

Do you people got the "Free from immigration restriction" letter from case worker along with your passports which states the date from you are free? if so what date you got? if not what other letters you got?

I got only one letter ICD.3745 which say, "we extended your stay and returning your passports" no thing else mentioned about the free from immigration.

Please share if you got one so that we can request the case worker to send that missing letter.

Hi guys- congrats to all who received passport and good luck to those waiting. Though I have retired I cannot helping clicking on this thread several times a day as it has been a habit for past 20 weeks or so. I have been following all success stories.

I got just one letter that you have mentioned ILR 2011, on the passport says ILR and no mention of "no public fund etc" unlike last few visas. I think that is enough to prove that you are free from immigration restrictions.

i called the home office this morning , twice , the first one it was the end of the day for me , the office didnt ask anything about me or my details just when i sent the application thats all and she told me , you have to wait i said i cant i need to travel soon , she said in this case i have to cancel the application and travel then start again its like i will do it , for alot of reasons , 1000 pounds , my passport expired , and im not go throu the hassle again , so i hagnup the phone in her face i was so cross when she said she cant tell me anything i have to wait . 10 mins later i called again and i got nice person , i said to her your colleague she didnt ask anything about my details and she told me to wait how is that work ? she asked for my details , after 2 min she told me my application has been processed but not completed , i said what does it mean ? im waiting for the stump ? she said just not completed but it been processed they will get in touch with me once is finished . do you have any idea what does it mean guys ?

Firstly, this forum is great! Thanks for all sharing your stories. The waiting is not good but it is good knowing I am not alone during this frustrating time! Below is where I am:

SET (O) - UK Ancestry

First app - 25/09/2011 - Rejected because my CC company rejected payment (I know, it says check with them)
Second app sent and received - 25/10/2011
Ack letter received on the 27/10/2012
Payment left - 25/10/2011

In the first week of December, I received a letter asking to prove my employment for the 5 years I had been here. I went to all the places I worked and got letters from everyone and sent them off.

Also, when it asks about your "Is your home in the UK?" - I rent privately with my brother but own a house and because I am not living there, I never put any information about. I then realized it is probably a slightly important bit of information so I sent them my most recent mortgage statement along with a letter explaining on the 23/01/2012.

Does anyone think this will delay it more?

ILR2011 I got only one letter saying ilr is approved and with that I got a leaflet thats it nothing else saying about d immigration restriction.i think as doubletrouble said their will b no restriction on anything apart from we dont have to leave the contry for more than 2 years. Rest should b ok.

Congrats to all those who have got there passports recently. Really happy for you guys.

Just hope my Mrs passport comes soon as possible as we booked a trip abroad in 2 weeks time as its her sisters wedding.

All we are doing now is praying. Cant really miss the wedding otherwise everyone else will go and we will miss it wish we had paid extra hundred pounds and did the premium service.

Our case is very straight forward. I wonder why its taking so long for marriage visas.
