New born Dependant visa Out of country application

Post by ibmfreak » Wed Feb 01, 2012 9:56 pm

My child is currently in India and will be comming to UK in July 2012. Me and my wife are on tier 2 General category sponsored by a A-rated Sponsor. I dont intend to ask my company to provide a letter that they will pay for the first month expenses for my child.
In the following event do I need to maintain the required amt of £533 for each member of my family or is it just for the child as me and my wife have a visa till the end of this year which we would extend at the said time.

Can I maintain funds in my UK account or does it have to be a local bank in my country?

Your advise would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You still need to show the money for each one of you as they would require proof that u still can support everyone including yourself ...
Hope this helps
Thanks
