I did this in the past and it was perfect no one pbjected.

If you can take your passport/ID to job centre near you and ask them to attest it then they will photocopy it there and attest it and signed and stamp it for free. so you dont have to have your original document with you.

yes thats what im planning to do, as im no longer happy in my job so i am gonna start job hunting while still on my current job also my bank wanted to see my passports..

My COA stated on 23/11/2011, I think.
My partber keeps the letter, so date is just from my memory.

I am waiting the post can be for me anytime the postman comes!!!
I really understand your feeling.

Shall we keep up date here?
We should get PR soon!!!

HI. How did you request your passports be returned, do you have a phone number for this ? I need ours back too. Do they continue to process your application without the passport, or do you have to withdraw the application as well ? Hubby hasn't had a COA yet, I guess this has an application reference number on it, I hope our passports are not too difficult to trace without a ref number :?

Thanks for any help guys.

to be honest im feeling worried..
Azhaar,

My bank as well asked me to bring my latest visa details and they took back my overdraft limit. howerver, I really don't care about it. I think you should not request your passport back as I think very soon you would get your decision.

Hi guys, I have sent joint application on 30/10,it has been rcvd by HO the following day.
My timing:
Applicaton sent 30/10
Rcvd by HO 1/11
COA rcvd 23/11 for my partner eea4
Eea3 pr rcvd 4/12
Still waiting eea4.
Hv sent them a letter requesting an update last thursday, as my partner is due to travel in 3 weeks. Im worried to ask for his
passport as it could be any day now. Im hoping for everything to be ok, as I think if there would be an issue, they would already let me know.
Anyone who applied in the beginning of Nov, have u rcvd ur pr on eea4?
