English Language requirments tightening

Post by zahid.ali.anwar » Tue Feb 07, 2012 9:24 am

Hi All,

Do you think that the planned tightening of english language requirment will have any implications on the people applying for Tier 1 General extension. Do they need to re-take the IELTS etc to prove thier english languaue ability at the time of extension. Currently, as everyone knows, they just have to select the option of language requirment fulfilled at the time of initial application.

The English Language Requirement Tightening mentioned in this article might have implications on requirments. I don't know, but they might include spouse on the requirments as well.

Anything not finialized as yet. However, could be dawing of a new era...

Thanks,
The question is... to be or not to be....

why don't you read the article and you will see that the only change is that people who are already required to take an English language test (because for example they don't have a degree taught in English), are no longer able to make their application before they have taken the test or recieved their results.
