A child born before the parent acquired ILR is not automatically British, the children would need to be registered under Section 1(3) of the British Nationality Act in order to be British, once the parent has been granted ILR.sunil.suneel wrote:Greenie wrote:was the child born before of after the father obtained ILR?
Wont either way make the child eligible to British Citizenship ??? wondering how child born before and after ILR would have different entitlement ?

kid born in UK
On those facts the baby was British from the moment of birth, so no need to fill in a form MN1.child born in 2012..father holds ILR since 2011
John..baby born on 02/02/2012 ... I have found out that we can get just born pics at snappy snaps..John wrote:kid born in UKOn those facts the baby was British from the moment of birth, so no need to fill in a form MN1.child born in 2012..father holds ILR since 2011
Just apply for a British passport for the baby. But a problem! How to get an acceptable passport pic of the baby? Strongly suggest you use a professional photographer to get that pic taken, of a baby so young.
Actually when was the baby born? You merely tell us 2012.
