Tier 1 renewal for self emoyed director of Limited Company

Hi

My renewal is due in 2 months time. After reading through the guidelines, I'm planning to enclose the following documents
1- one year statement for my limited company that includes Profit and Loss statement
2- letter from accountant stating net profit after all taxes
3- business account statement from bank
4- company formation lcertificate
5- personal bank statement for the last 3 months

Please let mr know if this is sufficient

you have mentioned self employed...

if you tell the case worker you are self employed.............they will ask you UTR number .........r u aware of that?

What is UTR number. I'm working under my own Limited Company and paying class 1 NI

Ask your accountant, he will have it in case he has filed for your IT return.

You also need the UTR number when you apply for SA return yourself. In case you don't have it, get it from HMRC or request your accountant to get it.

Thank. I'll get that fromthe accountant. What about the rest of the documents, are they sufficient

Search the forum for "self employed" you will get numerous post and you can cross check your docs against them.
Any way also check the ukba guideline.

You can also just call HMRC and ask them to send you a letter stating your UTR which they will do within a few weeks.
