Please advise...soon applying for ILR

Post by Sapphire » Wed Feb 08, 2012 10:12 pm

Hi All

I am soon going to apply for my ILR and hence would like some clarifications on this...

Came to UK on 25/03/2007 on 5 years WP.
Changed category to Tier-1(G) and visa issues on 14/09/2009

I had one conviction through out this period for which I decided to sit for Speed Awareness Course.....Should this needs to specified in the Form(O) under section 7 (Personal History)?

For cohabitation evidences, I have nothing in my wife name except her name had always been included in the tenancy agreement. Not sure what other docs/proofs can be attached with the application? Can anyone please advise?

Will really appreciate your response on this

Thanks

1) No you dont have to mention as there is no unspent conviction against you i.e. u didn't had any points on licence...

2) Dont you have a joint bank account with her that way you can use bank statements...

Cheers

Even if she has her own bank account you should be able to use her statements as they would be coming to the same address. You don't necessarily need to have documents with both your names on them as long as you have enough proof under each individual name to show you are co habiting at the same address.

There is no need of any cover letter unless you want to send an explaination on something specific...
