thanks for your reply, as far as I know she is fine with never being able to return to the UK. She is young and enjoying herself at the moment and just wants to stay for maybe 1-2 years and then go back home and get back to her life at home, or so she say.John wrote:It is technically a criminal offence to overstay a visa. In the Tower of London, down in the dungeons, there is a special section where such offenders are kept.
Seriously, does this person realise that overstaying is liable to cause problems in the future? What if they ever need a further visa sometime in the future?
Yeah I told her this, but she said that she does not really care as she is not planing or interested in settling or anything similar. She has no real reason to stay in UK other then not wanting to go home right now, since she is enjoying herself so much atm.peppekalle wrote:She will find herself in detention and they will remove her within 3 days.If she is not careful she will be removed with nothing other than the clothes she is wearing.
Tell her to seek help to try and extend her stay.
