I would imagine it would be a morning time, possibly up until about 1pm.

my hubby got his text mesage 4ish...in pakistan...
it was 1ish here...

they tel u that tym so u can get urself ready cos sum ppl hav to travel to gerry like 3-4 hours innit...and they say cum for 2 o clock...

Tell me about it.....I dont think anyone is waiting who applied before me now in December. Still waiting.........loosing the will to live more like.

Wifes friend applied on same day in Mirpur (not on this forum). She is still waiting too. So im not all on my own and there are a few people who applied just a few days after still awaiting news.

Will stick it out. When I look at all the appealant's I think how most they feel after waiting ages.....Insha Allah all will be re-united.

hey i was just wondering was your's and your friend's wifez cases straight forward ones?? becuase i am thinking maybe they are taking longer for cases where they need to make extra checks for instance ive already been to Uk for study n all .. wot do u think

Yeh I too jus came across that on the ukba website 2 per cent increase in most applications but higher increase in certain routes so no doubt spouse visa will have a higher increase cos its a common one

My hubbies due to apply 1st week of April so myt aswell get it in before the 6th of April.

Hi i applied on the 5th of january thiers still ppl on this forum who have applied in the second week of december n they still havent recieved a reply back. Hi thanks for replying back, yeh I read everyone's forum who are waiting to hear.. My sis inlaw got a reply back in 26 days she was applying for a marriage visa too. O well inshallah we just have to wait. I have heard the people who apply in mirpur get a reply back in 40 days . Mine will be a month on the 11th:(for waiting

For submitting the case when you ring Gerrys to book an appointment do they alocate you to which state you will be submitting the case or could you choose one that will be nearest to you....

Hi wen did ur sis in law apply. sum1 who applied on 16th of dec got visa granted 2day. I think syma n keyser_soze case is a bit complicated thats y its takin longer. I hope they receive a reply by next week inshallah.

Thanks everyone.

I have not spoken to my wife properly yet as i was at work when she texted me. But i think the status changed first and then she got the text message.

It all happened today, my wife lives like 10 mins from Islamabad so as soon as she found out the status has changed she went down and picked up the papers.

Someone once mentioned that the employment letter has to be less than 6 weeks old, that's not true as i got mine in June 2011 and the app. was submitted in December. So as long as you have some up to date wage slips you should be ok.

Wife will be coming next month with my parents who are in pakistan at the moment.

Does anyone know how much one way tickets are at the moment from pakistan...?

hi she applied on the 12nov and got reply back in 26days which was really quick.it depends when i get reply dont want to wait anymore its just too much stress and waiting period lol:(

What airport will she being flying to in the UK?

The one I got for my wife was £340, Islamabad to Birmingham on PIA.
