FLR(m) Visa granted Woohooo

Post by Maya86 » Tue Feb 07, 2012 6:26 pm

Hi all

Application submitted on 30/01/2012
Outcome: 07/02/2012
Result: Granted
Evidence:
Our passports
Marriage Certificate
Letter from my father stating we can live with him
Deed papers
My employer letter- my position, annual salary and that my job is permanent
My bank statements (not in order I must admit) - no savings whatsoever
my payslips (again not in order)
P60 which I received from my employer at the end of the financial year 2011
Letters stating we both live at the same address - no jointly addressed letters
Pictures (where we are both happy and together)

That's all.

I hope this helps anyone who is applying for FLR(m) from student visa.

Thank you to everyone who shared their experience, expertese and advise.

Maya

Never lose hope!

By deeds I meant the deed papers of the house, my father's property.

My husband and I are very impatient people lol so we made an appointment. They were having technical issues so they asked us to come back a week later, we did and volla he got the visa. :) If you need any help or have any question do ask, I am more than willing to share my experience :)

Waalaikumusalam,

No brother, I did not have anything tested. We just gathered the relevant evidence, got our lawyer to look through them, made an appointment paid the £850 fee and handed everything in. They do the biometric there and then too.

sorry quick question about paying this £850 fee, can it be done online, wire transfer etc or do they expect us to trawl up there with a fat wad of cash? I imagine the latter as it is the most inconvenient

You have to pay at the office I guess. Not sure, we just made a card payment there and then.
