self employed + part time also to be added in Income cert?

Post by village » Thu Feb 09, 2012 10:50 pm

Gurus,

I have one query,

I got letters from Accountant for my self employed

I am also showing part time earnings .....

---even part time amount should be added in self employed Income earning letter
or
---part time earning should be shown in just covering letter from our side....

one more question finally....

do we need to show Gross income or Net amount for part time earnings....

pls reply.....

..
Great thanks

Don't panic village - it's all in the guidance on the website!

I'm sure that your accountant would/should already know this. However:-

From http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas ... ccountant/ as given above:
What the letter from your managing agent or accountant must show

You must send a letter from your managing agent or accountant on headed paper confirming the gross and net pay for the period claimed. The letter should give a breakdown of salary, dividends, profits, tax credits and dates of net payments earned. If your earnings are a share of the net profit of the company, the letter should also explain this.

Mathew,

can you pls explain clearly and sorry if am making you frustated as only 5 more days for my visa plsss..

1) I got self employed profit.loss accounts letter, balance sheet and other letters.
but not for parttime job salary..
is that if i just show it in covering letter is ok

2) Is it that we need to get a seperate letter from account

self employed and partime combined claiming the gross and net pay

1 or 2
?

No worries village, I'm not frustrated!

I'd go with option 2 myself as it covers everything asked for by UKBA and doesn't leave you open to any questions about why your accountant hasn't included any salary information.

The letter will then show total income and will be broken down between income 'types'.

Hope this helps. All the best!
