Tier 1 extension related

Post by pns » Fri Feb 10, 2012 11:48 pm

all

I made an application at one of the VAC(visa application centre) in India on 9th of July. I received the rejection letter on 25th of july 2010. This decision was overturned after an admin review and my visa was granted since 12th sep 2010.

Now, I am planning for an in country extension in sep 2012. The visa requirements say that the applicants would need to score 95 points if the visa was applied before 19th Jul 2010. Else(after 19th jul) it requires 100 points.

I might not be able to score 100 points with my current situation. All I want to know is my 'first successful tier 1 visa application date' for my visa. Is this something that I can ask UKBA?

ps:I do not find this application date column on the application form. I only see the visa grant/entry clearance date.

Your visa application date remains same (9th July) as you did not apply again.

You are confusing it with admin review/grant date.

Yes I m bit confused as some of friends told me to make sure how it works.

This forum really helps in identifying the solution for this type of issues.

Does anyone else on this forum are on the same boat? Kindly post your experiences.
