Unmarried Partners

Post by homyachok » Wed Oct 25, 2006 4:23 pm

Me and my boyfriend been living together for 2 years and about to apply for unmarried partners visa. I am working part-time, but my boyfriend doesn't have a job at the moment, but he used to work before and unfortnutely we don't have too many of his pay slips. Will our application be refused if we cannot provide the documentary evidence that my partner is working? Can we say that he is self-employed? We have all other documentary evidence i.e. bank statements, letters from doctors, inland revenue etc.

Could you please advise

Thank you
