COS for T2 ICT extension

Hi Experts,

Is there a different type of COS issued for Tier 2 ICT extension and new application? I have applied for my extension of visa(issued before Apr '10) but my employer has issued me COS whose type is Long Term Staff.
Is this a mistake of employer or I will still be covered under rules before Apr'10?

Extensions will be under the new categories - the CoS type(or the wording in the CoS) is correct

To amplify:
from April 2011 the Tier 2 ICT sub-category "Established Staff" has been replaced by the categories "Long Term Staff" or "Short Term Staff". The latter is work for up to 12 months only, the former for over 12 months..
