Spouse visa issued

Post by wahab86 » Tue Feb 14, 2012 1:25 pm

Dear All

I had a same day appointment for spouse visa last week.

It was very easy and I have been granted a 2 Yr Spouse visa
I changed my visa from Tier 2 by the way.

Documents they asked at the desk were as follows

Application form
Passport
Marriage Certificate
Degree to confirm I qualify for English requirement
Bank statement last 3 months
Payslips last 3 months
Tenancy Agreement

and asked if either of us were married before

In half an hour they called me to confirm the visa was granted

Hope this helps and good luck to all whose who are applying or have applied

PS: Its worth applying in person then sending in post as you save time and there's no stressing waiting for your visa to arrive !!

Hi, you don't mention in which country you submitted the application. If you applied in person from within the UK then it is normal to receive the visa on the same day. Anyways, congrats to you.

I can't believe you only gave 3 months, I thought 6 months was the norm...where did you apply from?
