Call 0870 606 7766 choose option 4 which is other immigration query.
Call in afternoon if you can as they are less busy in afternoon.
And check your bulk/ spam mail box as well.

I also got my BRP invitation letter today.(dated: 2 Feb).
they already sent me an e-mail on 2 Feb for BRP and I already booked it.

I applied for my post study visa on 6/1/2012 and received bio metrics on 9/2/2012.I did not receive acknowledgement letter.First letter i received from ukba is bio-metrics letter on 8/2/2012 dated 1/2/2012.I went to Aberdeen post office and got my bio-metrics done on 9/2/2012.

you guys are pretty lucky getting your Biometric invitation pretty quickly most people have to wait even longer. I wish that this good luck continues and you also get your visa quickly

I submitted my PSW 13Jan. I called today because I have not received my biometric letter. They told me to be patient and that they could not provide me with any information unless my application was 6 months old.

Dont worry. you will get it this week.. I posted mine on the 11th of Jan and only got the Biometric letter yesterday. Ive got a friend who posted on the 14th of Jan and he is still waiting too.

I posted PSW applications and my dependant's one on 6th January.
I received acknowledgement letter on 23rd.
I'm still waiting for the invitation for biometrics.
I'm so worried because we plan to go back to our country and we already have flight tickets...

I called the UK border agency this morning.
Nothing happened with my application... and she said I need to wait.
My application includes dependant, so they ignored because there is more work?

Hi,

I have applied by post on 13th of January, received an acknowledgement letter dated 24th Jan. Meanwhile, I managed to find a job and my employer requires to confirm that I have an application outstanding. However, my reference number is not available on the UKBA system. After calling millions of times they somehow mentioned that when I receive the Biometric letter it shows that I am on the system and my app is referable by the employer. It is just taking too long (23 days so far from the Ack. letter). Any clues as to how I can expedite this process? or how can I find out? (All they do is checking my REF No. and say it is not there yet!)

I've got biometrics invitation this morning by email (application posted on 6th Jan, Acknowledgement letter received on 23rd Jan dated 18th).
However, as family booking (I have one dependant), the earliest day I could book for biometrics was on 7th March in Liverpool...

I also sent my application on 16/01/12. I called UKBA two days ago & the respondent after asking some question like Name, D.O.B. Nationality, Adress & off-course Case ref No. told me " Your letter is being sent today dated (16/02/12) & You'll get it in five working days". Luckily, I got it today!!
I think you'll also get it in two to three working days!!

After the bio-metric, I think it will take max a couple of weeks!!
