Earning Points - Exact

Post by ramesh1 » Fri Feb 17, 2012 8:12 am

I have to meet earning ponts in the bracket: 35,000 - 39,999 to get 40points.

I am bit concerned because my sum for last 12-Months = 35,014.

Will it be Ok to claim 40 points for this as I have reached the earning points with the marginal value.

Pls advise.

Hi,

The figure £35,014 falls between £35,000 and £39,999. You will get the required points you need as long as the entire amount you are claiming for was taxable income.

Further to what thebionicredneck2003 said, just make sure you have all the necessary documentary evidence as required and there shouldn't be issues.

my annual salary is 34,500 only but adding the bonus, overtime, on-call allowance it came to 35,014 but everything is in payslip and I have my P60 for 2 yrs which i will be carrying with me. So payslips and bankstatements showing the salary credit should be ok to prove my earnings right?
