Hey y'all, what's poppin?! What's jack-a-lackin?!

So my wife submitted the application in Mirpur on 23 December and the tracker status changed to "currently being processed by the BHC" on 11 January.

It's now 8 weeks later and still no response! Any other Decembers peeps still out there waiting?

Lately, I've always been hearing that visas were getting processed mad quick - que pasa?

A few months back, people I knew were receiving responses within 1-3 weeks.

Two weeks is still early days yet. It could take upto 12 weeks.

You could get a response if your lucky within 4-8 weeks.

:D @ What's jack-a-lackin

Yeah i know last year from oct to early december people were getting Visa's very very quick. I think the system has been healed and its gone back to its usual strict process.

Make one wonder why the heck do they charge over 800 quid? and for what hardly anything. We knowledge and a bit of guidance one could easily compile a case themselves.

forms were submitted on the 25/01/12 at Islamabad

any one now how long it could take for the results now.

when i asked on the phone call she said she does not now..all she said was that the details will now be followed onto the embassy.

Salam XnailaX

Thanks for the reply..

Iv tried checking online but the ref number keeps saying invalid..the ref number my Mrs gave me starts with GRY....

How n where can you check if the docs are in progress..I think they are, my Mrs received a txt about the application around the time I gave the foreign office a call.
I just hate waiting..there's nothing worse then these tensed moments

They like keeping people waiting!!

That's the incorrect reference number bro the reference number you need to check status online will begin with ISB if u submitted at islamabad and can be found on the top of your reciept it will be something like this ISB/25/01/2012/xxxxxx/x
I also got a call from them asking me for info last year and I received my documents a week later so inshallah you should hear some thing soon

I'm a 100% sure bro coz it happened to me also the gry reference is just a reference number for gerrys that's your application reference number
The application tracking number is a different number that enables you to check status of your passport bro
Basically I applied at Lahore mine starts with lhar/22012012/xxxxxx/x
If you applied on the 25th of January your tracking number will be ISB/25012012/xxxxxx/x basically it's made of the date you applied followed by another 7 digits when your mrs submitted the docs they would have given her a reciept and you need to ask her to look on it and tell you the number that begins with ISB/25012012/ as that is the tracking number
When you get a text of gerrys it doesn't show the tracking number that's only for you the gry number is your gerrys referenc number
Hope this helps

Thanks to everyone for the kind words! Alhumdhulila it is such a relief to have hubby here besides me. I was showing this forum to him and he was shocked at how many people are refused visas, also he says thanks for all the support and duas.

We both are making dua for you all to have your visas granted and that you are swiftly united with your loved ones.

Please make dua that Allah swt blesses our marriage with his rahma and barakah. Ameen!

Love you all! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
