Actually I live In Glasgow but Im looking to relocate in London, Which one you think is the best city to Live near/close(1 hour drive, public transport) to London, and why?

I have Lived in Milton Keynes for 3 years. Its a nice green city, nice people. The commute through trains is 35 mins through Virgin trains to euston. But bear in mind that the monthly travel pass costs around 450 GBP. obviously if you go closer to london, it will be cheaper.
Other places on that line you could try for are Watford, Harrow, Leighton buzzard etc

Bedford is a small market town - direct train links into London - 45min. It's very family orientated and house prices are fair.
